I[edit]

I removed Spina bifida from this list because it "may affect as many as 1 out of every 800 infants." Kingturtle 15:37 Apr 11, 2003 (UTC)

Do we really need this list? just a quick glance - shock sure isn't rare ... Alex.tan 17:05 3 Jul 2003 (UTC)

I just asked myself the same question. This list has been around for more than two years, but hardly anyone has written articles, and the one I came across -- Schmitt Gillenwater Kelly syndrome -- is useless babble.
However, I don't understand the above comments either, neither the reason given by Kingturtle for removing the name of one disease nor Alex.tan's remark that "shock is not rare". Does it say List of rare diseases anywhere? Or was that the old title? <KF> 18:44, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)
