Helicopters[edit]

Too many helicopter pictures. In the US certainly the majority of mountain rescue occurs without helicopters. DriveBy27 16:53, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

I agree, thinned out helicopter pictures, lets see how long it lasts.--KTo288 (talk) 08:19, 2 June 2018 (UTC)

US-centric nature[edit]

sigh... yet another US-centric page — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tarquin (talkcontribs) 10 April 2003

I have rewritten the article to make it slightly less US-centric. --Iceaxejuggler 15:37, 1 Oct 2004 (UTC)

IMHO this page is no longer US-centric. The paragraph on Canada seems out of place, given the (attempt at) international perspective. How about replacing the Canadian discussion with something about national associations (see external links) and IKAR-CISA? Note the Internationale Kommisia fur Alpines Rettingwesen article could also use elaboration. DriveBy27 00:46, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

Ireland/UK[edit]

Since when is Ireland part of the UK? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.97.78.31 (talk) 01:50, 10 January 2010 (UTC)

merge with ski patrol?[edit]

Could this article also integrate ski patrol? --Joy [shallot] (talk) 11:12, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
