I'm editing "Da Brat is a proud lesbian." As a Black, gay man, I would love it if there was another famous, Black gay person. However, I have never seen any source where she officially came out. Some wonder if she is romantically involved with Mariah Carey, but again that's a rumor. So I deleted that line, but welcome anyone to add it back if they have proof. jcm 5/7/8 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.228.129.9 (talk) 13:56, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
"An Atlanta judge today sentenced the Unrestricted rapper to three years in prison for bashing a woman with a rum bottle at a Halloween party last year...Aside from the rum punch, Da Brat's rap sheet includes a pistol-whipping incident that earned her a year's probation and lots of community service, as well as pay a $1,000 fine."
